Its the most wonderful time of the year…except for the absolute battering our skin takes as the chilly months roll in. What better time to gift your loved ones a bit of pampering to take the edge off the bitterness of the British weather? I’ve put together my top bath and body gifts for the ladies in your life this season…
1. Sanctuary Spa gift sets
Available at various retailers including Boots and Superdrug, Sanctuary in my opinion take the top spot in affordable yet super luxurious pamper products. In the flagship range you can find smaller sets and stocking fillers such as the ‘Spa in a Jar’ (£10) to bigger gifts like the ‘Lavish Luxuries’ set (£20) and ‘Indulgence Hamper’ (£45). Each gift is a treasure trove of beautifully scented and skin-loving products ranging from body washes, scrubs and oils, moisturisers, face washes and bath floats. Sanctuary have also launched a ‘Sleep’ range infused with lavender oils and midnight flowers to help you relax and unwind. It’s an absolutely stunning collection of products and the ‘Dream Easy Pillow Mist’ is definitely a firm favourite of mine.
2. LUSH Christmas
LUSH delivers the goods all year round, but their Christmas collections are a whole other level of delight. Not only do all their products smell amazing, look amazing and have great natural and organic benefits for the skin, as a company they make it so easy to create a wonderful christmas gift. If you know the person you’re buying for well enough, and fancy having a good nosey around the store, you can easily pick and choose specific products you’d like to gift (bath bombs from around £3-£7, soaps and shower gels from around £7-10 and other bits like lip balms and scrubs (£6.50-£7.50) and the staff will delightfully gift-wrap them for you in a reusable fabric to add that extra special touch. Or, if you don’t have a clue where to start or just don’t have the time for that, they have a magical selection of ready-made gift sets for you to choose from. LUSH is always a go-to for me. I love how much effort the company puts into designing adorable products, formulating the best mixtures of scents and ingredients that you can easily tailor to your loved one. It’s always a pleasure receiving a gift from lush!
3. No7 at Boots
Whether you’re looking for makeup, skincare or luxury pamper products to gift: No7 has you covered. A classic member of the Boots 3 for 2 Christmas shop, the gift sets get better every year. Available in a full range of prices, you’re covered for stocking fillers, secret santa’s and bigger gifts (eye and lip cosmetic sets from around £12-£14 all the way to skincare packages for £80+ and everything in between!). The sets are the perfect pamper package which, because they include both full sized and miniatures of No7’s main range, are a great opportunity for loved ones to try out new products without having to purchase themselves!
4. Facial Cleansing Brushes and Other Gadgets
If you’re planning on splashing out for gifts this year and are looking for something a bit more unusual, why not consider a beauty gadget? Products such as the Foreo Luna Mini (currently £89 at John Lewis) and the Phillips VisaPure (currently £149.99 at John Lewis) are nifty additions to your skincare routine which take deep-cleanse to a new level while staying gentle on the skin. They allow your favourite cleansers and face washes to be absorbed better, helping them work to their full potential. These are just two examples of the hundreds of skin gadgets on the market!
5. Liz Earle Limited Edition Hot Cloth Cleanser
One of my staple beauty buys, the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is a great gift for anyone who enjoys skincare. The cleanser (£21.50), which you massage into skin to deep cleanse and remove makeup then wash with hot water, comes in a beautiful tin with two high-quality muslin cloths included. Throughout the seasons Liz Earle release limited edition scents (in dreamy limited edition packaging) which make such lovely gifts. I’m still clinging on to my bottle of the 2017 sweet orange and mint formula! And if you’d rather a bigger selection of products, both miniature and full sized gift sets are available too between £12-£70.
6. Make Your Own!
Fancy getting creative and being budget friendly? Why not make your own pamper pack! Get yourself a box, gift bag, stocking, basket or makeup bag and fill it with things you know they’ll love! This is something I often gravitate towards for birthdays, it’s easy, thoughtful and personal. You can even make it seasonal while brands have their christmas ranges on the shelves.
Let me know in the comments what your go-to is when it comes to christmas gifting!
